Why do I use the materials that I use for my art? I have always thought the answer is obvious. and I am not sure if I can always speak about it clearly. Unfortunately I could not reach them to take them off. But they inspired me, as did that scene in American Beauty of the plastic bag dancing. Was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play wit.

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. The month of July flew by as summer months usually do, however, this one was one very hot laborious day after another as I completed a large quilt for entry into a call. A luna moth was an image unused on the Empress. So I decided to use it on a small piece using the leftovers from the large quilt to create a new piece. One of the things I ended up doing for Empress.
